I have nearly 3 years of tutoring experience, ranging from 6th grade to college students. I have done most of my tutoring in math (all levels) and physics, but have also done some tutoring in writing, history, and other humanities classes. As a tutor, I like to stress that students understand fundamental concepts in addition to being able to complete their homework. I think this lends itself to better test performance and better understanding of the material.

Hobbies

Outside of school, I am an avid runner. I have run cross country and track competitively in both high school and college. I enjoy going on long runs and hikes outdoors and exploring new places. I am also an avid fisherman and love to explore new rivers, lakes, and oceans. I am also very into music. I played trumpet in multiple different performing groups both in high school and college and continue to enjoy making music with friends.
